Our journey began in 1979 when our founding families from Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, and the Netherlands came together to unite their passion for fishing and marine products.
The Origin – Fishing in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea
Originally, our companies specialized in catching fish in the rich waters of the North Sea and the Baltic Sea and delivering them directly to our customers. With dedicated teams and modern ships, we provided the finest seafood for the European market.
Challenges in the 1990s
In the 1990s, the circumstances changed significantly. Quotas were tightened to combat overfishing. This led to many of our ships being decommissioned because the waters no longer had sufficient stocks. The high maintenance costs for ships and crews made the traditional fishing methods increasingly unprofitable. This was a major challenge for us, but we never gave up.

Instead of giving up, we found new ways to continue our mission. Through innovative approaches and new distribution channels, we have been able to offer fresh marine products continuously.
